Why I Took the Leap into Retreat Life

I recently launched Lucy‑Ann Retreats because I’m ready to expand into the work that lights me up the most.

Teaching yoga will always be my foundation — but creating transformational experiences is where my whole being comes alive. Retreats offer something the studio never can: spacious mornings, deeper conversations, unhurried practice, and the kind of connection that stays with you long after you return home.

From my early days running Rose & Glow retreats with my twin sister, to the camping weekends I’ve hosted here in Cornwall, I’ve seen again and again how powerful it is when people step away from the noise and into nature, movement, and presence.

And now, with my first overseas retreat in Portugal in May 2027, I’m following the pull of what I love most: teaching deeply, travelling widely, and connecting with beautiful souls in beautiful places.

Creating Lucy-Ann Retreats is my leap of faith — a home for this next chapter of my work, rooted in purpose, courage, and joy. It’s a space where you can explore upcoming retreats, feel into the energy of each offering, and join me on journeys designed to nourish, restore, and inspire.

Will you be coming on retreat with me?   I would love to share this next chapter with you.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Kate Bickford

"I thought I’d done yoga before but it is a whole new wonderful experience with Lucy-Ann. I absolutely love her classes. Her knowledge is immense, not just of the yoga postures, but combined with her anatomical knowledge she is fabulously equipped to help advanced or complete beginners."

Donna Petterson

"Lucy-Ann's yoga classes are exceptional. Her knowledge, care and teaching experience provide reassurance, guidance and encouragement. I started with no yoga experience whatsoever, and now, 4 years in, yoga has become a vital part of my life, self-care, fitness and wellbeing. She is truly an inspirational Yoga Teacher."

Dr Rhys Bullman

"I thought stiff joints were  just part of ageing, but when I began to struggle with simply bending down and doing my shoelaces up, I knew I had to do something. I found yoga, and have never looked back. Lucy-Ann's classes are both challenging and wonderfully satisfying. Her teaching, and attention to all her students is commendable."
